“Forget A’Bout It”
Garlic Parm Wing Night

Written by Mark H Schwab

Featuring The Don of Flavor — the boss of all seasonings.

THIS is the one where Sizzleton goes full Italian‑American swagger — chest out, apron flapping, talking to the wings like they owe him protection money. And with The Don of Flavor? Forget about it — these wings don’t just taste good… they get made.

Let’s cook.

FULL RECIPE + STORY

Chapter 1: The Prep — “Show Some Respect.”

It was a Saturday afternoon in Sizzleton’s backyard — the kind of day where the grill smoke rises slow, the neighbors peek over the fence, and the whole block knows something serious is happening.

Sizzleton strutted out carrying a bowl of fresh chicken wings like he was escorting VIPs into a nightclub.

“Alright boys… tonight, you’re becoming legends.”

Ingredients (Prep)

  • 3–4 lbs chicken wings

  • 1–2 tbsp neutral oil

  • 2–3 tbsp The Don of Flavor Garlic Parmesan seasoning

Instructions

  1. Lay wings out on a tray.

  2. Pat them dry thoroughly — moisture is the enemy of crisp.

  3. Toss lightly in oil.

  4. Season generously with The Don of Flavor on all sides.

  5. Let them sit 10–15 minutes so the seasoning can settle in.

The wings were coated in golden, aromatic armor that practically shouted:

“R U Kidding Me?!”

Chapter 2: The Grill — “Hot Coals, Hotter Attitude.”

Sizzleton fired up the grill to 375–400°F, the sweet spot for crispy skin without burning the garlic.

He arranged the wings on the grate like soldiers in formation.

“Stay in line. No funny business.”

Grill Setup

  • Temp: 375–400°F

  • Heat: Two‑zone if possible (hot side + cool side)

The sizzle hit instantly — a sound so beautiful it could’ve been played at a wedding.

Chapter 3: The Cook — “Crispy, Capisce?”

For the next 35–45 minutes, Sizzleton worked the grill like a maestro:

Cooking Steps

  • Flip every 10 minutes

  • Rotate wings between hot and cool zones

  • Close the lid to keep the heat steady

  • Let the skin tighten and crisp naturally

Every time he opened the lid, a cloud of garlic‑parm steam rolled out like a fog machine at a nightclub.

The neighbors sniffed the air. Dogs sat at the fence. Kids wandered over “by accident.”

Sizzleton waved them off.

“Back up. These wings ain’t ready yet.”

Target Internal Temp:

185–190°F for tender, pull‑clean wings with crispy skin.

Chapter 4: The Finishing Move — “The Don’s Blessing.”

When the wings hit temp, Sizzleton pulled them off and dropped them into a big metal bowl.

Finishing Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 1–2 cloves minced garlic (optional extra punch)

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan

  • Extra Don of Flavor for finishing

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a small pan.

  2. Add garlic and warm gently (don’t brown it).

  3. Stir in parmesan until it melts into a glossy sauce.

  4. Pour over the hot wings.

  5. Toss like you’re sealing a deal.

  6. Hit with one last dusting of The Don of Flavor — the boss always gets the last word.

The aroma? Pure intimidation.

Chapter 5: The First Bite — “Forget A’Bout It.”

Sizzleton carried the bowl to the table where the family was waiting.

The wings glistened. The garlic screamed. The parmesan sparkled like gold dust.

He grabbed one, took a bite, and closed his eyes.

Crispy skin. Juicy meat. Garlic‑parm explosion. A finish so bold it slapped him on the back and said:

“You did good, kid.”

The family dove in, shouting:

“R U Kidding Me?!” “These are insane!” “Make more next time!”

Sizzleton leaned back, arms crossed, satisfied.

“Forget about it. The Don always delivers.”
